how much horsepower does an LT1 really have

i have read that the 275/285 hp was a conservative estimate by gm for the 4th gen lt1
i was wondering how much does everyone think they truly have stock
i got a 95 z28 a4 with a cai, mac cat back exhaust, air foil, ported throttle body

id say thats what they really have. maybe a few more. most stock dynos show it to be that.

275 flywheel HP is generally accepted as pretty accurate for the LT1 engines. It's the LS1's that were supposedly underrated from the factory.

ok
why from 95 to 96 did the lt1 gain 10 hp
all that was different was dual cats
can they make that much of a difference
