Default Roll cage

So I saw a video on youtube about a kid that smashed up his car and ended up with 20k in titanium in his neck. That got me thinking about my cars safety. What are your guys opinions of roll cages? And what are some price ranges for the cage and install? I do not street race, its more for peace of mind. What do you guys think?

Check out some Wolfe roll cages
http://www.wolferacecraft.com/default.aspx

They're nowhere near expensive as 20K in titanium.

So is there a good compromise between street use and full out race? I don't race it, and even if I did, it aint going sub 9... wish it did but not a chance.

If yuo have a cage you must wear 5 point harnesses and a helmet, otherwise you will end up cracking you skull on the bars.

Here is a good read,

they also have another advantage if they're a weld-in type... you wouldn't believe how hard your car gets with a cage in it

almost makes it worth the extra weight
